We can arrange regularly scheduled pick-ups or call on demand service. We can even set up reminder calls to check with you.

The SEM shredding services were originally begun to help a few of our good local customers with large file cleanouts. SEM's Shredding Services have grown to be an integral part of our business in New England. We can structure a program to suit just about any shredding need. Whether you have a single box, a truckload, or a continuing stream of documents that need to be destroyed on a regular basis we can help. You can bring items to us or arrange for us to pick them up. We guarantee complete destruction and disposal and supply a Certificate of Destruction with every job.

Pricing Estimation

Pricing for our paper destruction is a per pound rate of $.20 per lb. To assist in calculating the approximate weight of your destruction...

We estimate that a standard records storage box or copier paper box weighs between 35-40 lbs. when completely filled with paper.

For example: (10) Copier Boxes of Waste

(10) X 35# = 350 total lbs. @ $0.20/lb = $70.00

Note: minimum destruction charge is $50.00

Methods of Shipment

Customers can drop off at our conveniently located destruction facility in Westboro, MA at no charge or incur a slight pickup fee depending on location and logistics.

Standard Pickup Fee: $50 (Zone Rates Apply)

Inside Pickup/Special Handling Services available ~

Rates/Inside Pickup: ("boxes" not on dock)

First 25; no added cost

Boxes in excess of 25; add $2.25 per box

Route Service ~ Available in New England only

In addition to the one-time purge, some customers have a continuous destruction flow. For these customers, SEM offers a weekly or monthly Route Pickup Service. Under this program SEM will provide you with a Security Waste Container at no cost. We will make arrangements that are convenient for your schedule to pick up your secure documents on a regular basis for a flat rate of $50.00 per pickup. We offer a variety of containers to suit every decor. All units are locked, to provide you with that added level of security.

All Destruction is done at our Secure Facility. We are bonded, insured and completely monitored 24/7 by our video security system. You can arrange to watch your job being destroyed or we can make a videotape of the process and send it to you.
